Objectives and mission of the EPFL Assembly (AE)

Constituted on the basis of equal representation, the EPFL Assembly is entitled to make proposals concerning all the normative acts of the EPF Board, the budget and planning, the creation or abolition of teaching and research units and the participation structures. The AE also gives its opinion on the EPFL President's annual report. It ensures participation within the various EPFL units.
The AE is consulted before the Direction or EPF Board makes decisions of general interest. It consists of 16 members elected within each group of persons :

.    4 scientific staff members (SS)
.    4 students (S)
.    4 administrative or technical staff members (ATS)
